1/5 Really enjoyed our stay. The house felt so private and had such immaculate gardens to look out onto. There were many recent magazines to keep us entertained when it rained and it was perfect for our toddler to play out onto the porch and safe street.

5/5 What a magnificent spot! We had a fabulously relaxing time. Pearl Beach is beautiful, not only the beach but the vegetation as well. A real paradise. The beach is great for kids as it is a bay and has an ocean pool. The Beach Retreat is also it's own little paradise. A great kitchen, cosy lounge room and a great outdoor eating area overlooking the gorgeous garden that was full of bird life. The rumpus room, go cart and long drive way were well used by my 3 year old, who had an absolute ball. It's a good spot for riding scooters or bikes down to the beach as it's flat and the roads aren't busy. It's a nice walk for adults and a good biking distance for kids. We will be back!

5/5 A truly wonderful retreat! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay - the idyllic peaceful location, modern slick renovation and thoughtful touches. Perfect for families/groups of friends. We were one family of four with young children and stayed in the separate family room - whilst our friends, being two couples shared the main house. Worked perfectly giving adults and kids their own spaces when need be plus the communal living for meals and relaxing together. Beaut nature outlook from outdoor BBQ decking. Enjoyed the outdoors hammock too. Short walk or flat bike ride to beach and coffee shop, general store and restaurant. Great bushwalking trails. Can totally recommend.

Not rated Well what a hidden gem, that is Pearl Beach. The Beach Retreat was just what we were after, the house was beautiful with all the mod cons and then some. The wild life, in the back yard alone was unbelievable with numerous species of birds, with our favourite being the family of Kookaburra's that would come visit of an afternoon as the BBQ got in full swing. We will be back, and so will our friends... thanks for making our holiday that much better.

Not rated We had the best weekend at the beach retreat! It was just perfect and had everything you could possibly need from, movies, cd's to pots and pans. The outdoor shower was lovely after a day at pearl beach. The friendly kookaburras were frequent visitors and laughed with us everytime we were outside. The frangipanis were beautiful, and not to mention the hammock! Superb! Definately coming back soon!!!

Not rated Spacious and well equipped to a high standard. As the weather was mixed we were appreciative of the magazines, cds, books and videos. The setting is lovely adjacent to the Abortetum, the neighbours friendly and just a leisurely stroll to the beach. An extremely enjoyable stay.

Not rated What a lovely "home" to stay in. Everything is thought of to make your stay as comfortable as you would at home...even down to scizzors and sticky tape in the draw! The property is beautifully furnished, which makes your holiday totally enjoyable. We nicknamed the visiting kookaburras "Harry" and "Potter"

The backyard was safely fenced and great for the kids, with abundant native birds for them to marvel at. We will definitely come back when we next want a beach holiday.

Not rated Wow! The Beach Retreat is tucked away in the far corner of Pearl Beach but it is still only a 10 minute walk (with kids in tow) until you hit sand. Being tucked away near bushland meant we had a myriad of birds come to feed each day much to the delight of our 6 year old son and 2 year old daughter. This house is gorgeous, clean, spacious and modern with all the mod cons to make your holiday easy and relaxing. Alfresco dining became the norm for our family for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Sitting at the timber outdoor setting on the lovely covered decking looking out over the leafy backyard, watching and listening to the birds...need I say more! My son especially loved the mini nature walk in the back corner of the yard that we have now named "Bradley's Nature Walk"! Thanks again for a lovely place to stay...we hope to be back!

Not rated This is the second time we have stayed at The Beach Retreat and we loved it just as much as the first time. We would highly recommend it to others and would definitely stay there again in the future. The house is set at the end of a tranquil cul-de-sac and the garden backs onto woodland, so the only sounds are of the local birds and the wind in the trees - I don't think we heard a single car all weekend! The house and garden are beautiful and immaculate and equipped to a very high standard, with thoughtful extras (beyond what would normally be expected or required) which made us feel at home, welcome, and relaxed.

It isn't often that we are all able to spend quality time together, at your lovely home, it was a dream. It was perfectly fitted with all the mod cons of home.
